Ray Goren - Revolution

Does religion save as much as it kills?
Our country’s just gangs and political fields
Is war just a business we pay for in blood
Screaming “I don’t wanna die, Mama, I’m too young”

As the preacher preach but don’t do as he preach
Politician talk but don’t walk how he speak
The most expensive things in life come free
You can pay for a bed but you can’t pay for sleep

It’s a revolution
It’s a revolution
Change gon’ come and it ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun

Chase coin to the grave but it stays in the bank
Slave all your life to a green paper chain
Work 9-5 ‘til your hair turns grey
And you can buy back the time with the check you wеre paid

World leaders quеst to conquer and divide
Ruling by fears so they both won’t run dry
I just wanna live and be loved
(I just wanna live before I die)

It’s a revolution
It’s a revolution
Change gon’ come and it ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun

Love, division
World suspicion
Hope, politician
Money, money
〈2x〉

Love

Ray Goren - Biography

Singer, songwriter, explosive multi-instrumentalist; Ray Goren is a true triple-threat. Now, at 18 years old, the ever-evolving musician has fashioned his own dynamic envelope of sound rooted in pop, hip-hop, rock and soul. Goren is also a world-class guitarist whose virtuosity, coupled with emotive voice, captivates audiences.

“I’ll listen to Johnny Cash on Monday, then listen to Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole on Tuesday,”

says the musician. “I listen to them for the same reason: their lyrics. They’re telling stories.

That is what I do in my songs. Tell my own story.“ Goren sets his lyrics to a soundtrack of

soulful hip-hop beats coupled with pop-driven hooks. His songs are lyrically driven and are based on a foundation of beats that fold-in real instruments. Goren performs solo – looping his guitar, synthesizer and drum beats into his melodies.

His show is Performance-Art, a look into his creative process. Mesmerized, his audience

witnesses Ray building the groove until that moment of shared recognition when the song truly arrives — an amazing artistic experience.
